THE PERKS:

No billable hours
Only 2 days per week in the office
Flexible schedule (one team member even works extra hours for a day off every fortnight!)
Salary range: $115k to $130k (inclusive of Super)
17.5% leave loading payable as a lump sum in December each year
13 weeks paid long service leave, payable after 10 years continuous service with access to pro rata leave after 7 years
14 weeks of paid parental leave and 1 week of paid spousal leave
Paid domestic and family violence leave.
Up to 12.75% Super
THE ROLE:
You'll work closely with an ex Top-tier Legal Manager with ongoing training & development with the chance to learn from the best. Expect to tackle a wide range of challenging matters, including:
Commercial Contracts and Procurement (with a focus on Tech contracts - QITC)
Statutory interpretations
Advising on Legislative changes and compliance
Reviewing Media enquiries
Checking evidence
ABOUT YOU:
Admitted as a legal practitioner in Queensland
2 to 4 years of post-admission experience within a commercial law team
Advocacy experience is a plus (prosecutions are run with external Counsel)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Exceptional drafting abilities
High level of commercial acumen
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
