Content Marketing is at the core of Mutinex's Marketing strategy and we're looking for a Data driven Content writer to bring that strategy to life and create engaging B2B content for our target audience in the Senior Marketer space.
Our product is a SaaS MarTech solution that helps CMO's understand the performance of their marketing efforts and media spend, hence the need for a data driven writer.
We're after someone that can find the right data points to hone in on and turn that into various long and short form content pieces to drive leads to our Sales team.
We have a hybrid way of working with 2 days a week in the office and this role can be based in either Sydney (Office near Central) or Melbourne (South Melbourne).
The roleReporting into our Head of Marketing, Claire, you will execute our content strategy in a varied and hands on role.
You will help execute the strategy, writing the majority of the content which will be across articles, blog posts, white papers, case studies, paid ads, emails and social.
You'll also help set the content schedules across these channels.
There will also be opportunity for you to manage PR pitches and drive visibility through those relationships.
Then you'll continually monitor and evaluate our content performance and strategies, adapting and making changes to make sure we're hitting and exceeding campaign KPIs.
Of course you will also partner with internal stakeholders, ensuring the right messaging and content is being delivered to the right audiences to help drive leads to our sales team.
What we are looking forThe key criteria we're after is B2B content writing experience, ideally within the Marketing industry with a heavy Data focus.
You should be able to showcase examples of long and short form content that uses Data points to drive messaging as well as best practices for SEO optimisation.
This could also be a background in Data related Journalism, to be able to find and investigate relevant industry data and turn that into engaging content to generate awareness and leads for our Sales team.
At least 1-2 years of experience as a guide and we're looking for someone who has worked with Enterprise level businesses as internal Content writers or significant exposure to that level of client base via agencies.
Ability to do basic video editing or Canva type design work is also a bonus.
Mutinex is an early stage tech startup, which means we can be pretty scrappy and run a lean operation without layers and layers of managers or an abundance of expensive tools at your disposal.
We're transparent about this as we'd want you to be excited by the opportunity to be part of a small team, across a lot of different things rather than siloed into one department.
About MutinexWe might be an early stage startup but we already have strong product market fit, household name clients (Samsung, Mars, CUB and ING to name a few) and millions in revenue.
Being early stage means we're also still pretty scrappy and you wouldn't be coming into a well oiled machine, yet.
But you would get a lot of opportunity to design, build and oil the machine until it's super oily.
We aren't aiming to be another Tech Unicorn because Unicorns aren't real.
We are aiming (and confident of being) more like a real and really big animal that lives for a long time, like a Bowhead Whale.
Mutinex is a startup B2B SaaS platform that provides in-depth data analytics for marketers to better understand their ROI and make better decisions with future spend.
Founded in Australia, we've hit millions in ARR & have seed funding ($5 million in May 2023 & $9.5 million in October 2023 backed by EVP) that we'll use for growing our team to continue to improve our product, bring in new customers and enable them to make better and more informed decisions.
We have a hybrid work environment with teams in Sydney, Melbourne and expanding into the US.
With a team of around 60 people we value high quality communication, strong opinions that are held loosely and people who can give and take feedback well.
Equity (ESOP) is offered to all staff on top of their salary and we also offer additional annual leave after 1 year of tenure (from 20 to 25 days a year) that continues to grow another day each year of service until you max out at 30 days per year.
