Our clients, a mixture of national and international contractors and large client-side and government entities, are seeking Senior Project, Project and Site Engineers to assist in the tender phase and manage packages of work during the delivery phase.
For the Senior Project Engineer roles: Reporting line is to a Project Manager. Responsibilities include:
Direct and coordinate the activities of a project team, programme workloads, and provide technical and administrative guidance to project staff to ensure aims and objectives are effectively and economically achieved. Ensure project completion is on time and within budget. Record completed work, costs incurred, materials used, and retain progress documentation. Manage on-site engineering functions through project personnel, which include Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Cost/Planning Engineers, and Material Control Engineers. For the Project Engineer roles: Reporting line is to a Senior Project Engineer. Responsibilities include:
Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications. Arrange and oversee the letting of tenders. Prepare site construction budgets and reports. For the Site Engineer roles: Reporting line is to a Project Engineer. Responsibilities include:
Conduct and administer overall job planning and programming including short-range and intermediate programmes for construction projects for approval by the Senior Project Engineer. Monitor construction progress to ensure acceptable quality of completed works. Support Senior Engineers and Supervisors. Verify sub-contractors' claims and variations. Projects: NSW: Renewables Project CV$2b+ - FIFO to remote NSW Site Requirements: SPE Civil, PE Mechanical, PE Electrical NSW: Transportation Project CV$1b+ Sydney Metro Requirements: SPE Civil, SE Civil Structures, SE General Civil NSW: Water Project CV$400m Sydney Metro Requirements: PE Civil, PE Structures, SE Civil NSW: TFNSW project CV$400m North Coast NSW Requirements: SPE x 2, SE x 3 Structures and Civil Queensland: Renewables Project CV$1b+ North Qld frequent visits to site Requirements: PE Civil, PE Mechanical, SE Civil Ideally, these roles are open to NSW and Qld residents; however, applicants from other states are encouraged to apply.
Candidates must have a Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical, depending on the project.
