The position is responsible for overseeing the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of Information System applications. This includes managing system testing, documentation, report writing, and user training as needed. The role requires close coordination with internal development teams and IT, providing support and guidance on information management practices, particularly in records management, to document and data controllers.
Responsibilities Lead a team of Application Administrators (IMS Admin) and Analysts to deliver required tasks and objectives. Develop the team's subject matter expertise on the LAUS Information Management Systems (IMS) landscape.Serve as a subject matter expert in Information and Records Management principles.Coordinate with LAUS IT and Business Partners and other stakeholders to meet role requirements.Lead and participate in project meetings to implement new technologies with relevant stakeholders.Ensure continuous Configuration Control of applications and tools, aligning with Configuration Management and IS processes.Adhere to LAUS, and project specific Configuration Management processes, standards and contractual requirements. Perform Application Administration activities within JIRA, Siemens Teamcenter and other applications as directed. Conduct user administration, training and end-user support through various communication channels.Perform internal audits on LAUS Systems as scheduled.Analyse and resolve issues through root cause analysis and fault reporting.Maintain and manage required processes, procedures and contract data requirements.Design and deliver both scheduled and ad hoc system reports.Support the Head of Configuration Management and IS as needed. Assist with the IMS Administration and Analyst duties where possible.Requirements Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a comparable role within Information Management Systems, Configuration Management, or Application Administration.Proven experience in leading or managing a team of application administrators, analysts, or similar roles.Demonstrated expertise in Information and Records Management principles, including experience applying them within a structured framework.Strong background in Configuration Control and Management, including working with compliance to industry standards or project-specific requirements.Hands-on experience with JIRA, Siemens Teamcenter, or similar IMS applications, including administration, configuration, and user support.Experience coordinating with IT, business partners, and other stakeholders for project delivery and process improvement.Relevant education or qualifications in Computer / Data Science, Computer Science Engineering or comparable – preferred or a combination of relevant qualifications and experience.Desired Experience: Experience leading or supporting internal projects for technology implementation or system upgrades.Familiarity with end-user training and support, including delivering training sessions and creating user documentation.Background in conducting system audits and performing root cause analysis for issue resolution.Experience in creating and managing technical documentation, processes, and contract data requirements.Prior experience in a highly regulated environment, such as defence, aerospace, or manufacturing, is a plus.Experience in leading and implementing Information Management System Projects.How to Apply To be considered for this role, please click the 'Apply for this job' link and upload your resume and a cover letter explaining why you'd be perfect for this role.
