We are looking for an Import Operator to join our team.
Key responsibilities include: The position is responsible for processing importation shipments by compiling, completing and verifying all necessary documentationRegistration of import shipmentsMonitoring invoice payments and releasing delivery ordersLiaising with transport companies, clients and team members on a daily basisTo be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will demonstrate: Approx 1-3 years of experience in freight forwarding industry - (But we are also accepting entry level candidates with no experience)Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures for Import or Export freight movements.Attention to DetailComputer literacy with basic PC and administration skillsGood analytical and planning skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalCyberFreight software experience is an advantageAbility to help out in the warehouse is a major advantageThe role is ready to commence ASAP.
This is a full time opportunity located in Sunshine North, VIC, 3020.
