Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Inventory Management: Monitor and forecast stock levels to ensure optimal availability, avoiding stockouts and overstock situations.
Purchase Order Management: Create, manage, and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in quantities, costs, and delivery timelines.
Supplier Coordination: Liaise with international suppliers to confirm order details, shipping schedules, and lead times.
Proactively address delays or discrepancies.
Shipping Management: Collaborate with freight forwarders to ensure timely product shipment and delivery, while maintaining accurate import documentation.
Stock Transfers: Manage overstock and coordinate smooth stock transfers between distribution centres.
Ad hoc Work: Occasionally assist with additional tasks outside primary responsibilities.
More about you The ideal applicant will possess the following: Proven experience in inventory management and shipping.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with international suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
