Administered by the University of Sydney over an initial 3-year period, Quantum Australia is supported by an $18.4M grant from the Department of Industry, Science and Resources, with significant additional financial support from state governments and university partners.A central team will be based in Sydney to support state and territory-based teams (Nodes) in NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, and the ACT. These Nodes will reside within the other Quantum Australia's partner universities.About the opportunityAs the Impact Analysis Lead, you will be part of Quantum Australia's newly established team in its central headquarters located in Sydney. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive impact measurement framework, both quantitative and qualitative, to assess the outcomes of Quantum Australia's initiatives. You will use data analysis, storytelling and strategic thinking to transform data into compelling narratives that will promote the work of Quantum Australia and further drive engagement in industry and government.Your key responsibilities will be to:Work in a collaborative and cohesive team within the Quantum Australia HQ reporting into the CEO.Develop and implement robust data collection and management systems to capture relevant data points across the quantum ecosystem.Utilise data visualisation techniques to provide data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making and program development.Collaborate with the Partnerships and Marketing Lead (NSW Node) to develop targeted messaging and campaigns utilising data insights.Assist with the preparation of reports for key stakeholders, including government agencies, funders, and industry partners.About youDemonstrated ability to analyse complex data to provide strategic direction and analysis to senior management.Demonstrated high-level stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Proven experience in application and database implementation, release and change management, and testing.Digital storytelling experience.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
