Immunisation Screening Officer, MQ Health
Permanent, Part-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse (15.2 hours per week) to join our Patient Safety and Quality team in MQ Health.

As part of our Patient Safety and Quality team, this role is responsible for ensuring MQ Health's compliance with policy obligations in relation to worker vaccination and personal protective equipment. This role will work autonomously to ensure worker records are reviewed, compliant, completed and stored in accordance with relevant policy and legislation.
The key responsibilities for this role (include but not limited to):
Reviewing evidence of immunisation provided by MQ Health staff, volunteers, accredited practitioners, Macquarie University Clinical Laboratory and clinical trials staff and check compliance.
Liaising with staff and accredited practitioners where non-compliance is identified, to identify a rectification plan to ensure compliance.
Communicating and documenting compliance and/or risks with HR and manager in a timely manner to facilitate on time commencement of new starters.
Facilitating provision of a copy of the private and confidential health records of worker immunisation status to the worker upon request.

Role Specific Conditions:
Valid Working with Children Check for NSW.
Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
