role, reporting to the Managing Partner and Quality/Compliance Manager, you will thrive on the
challenge and fulfilment
of this full-spectrum role:Managing your
own immigration practice/clients
from taking initial enquiries, conversion of prospects to clients and providing legal advice including: visa options, eligibility, application merits, drafting submissions, preparing and lodging visa applications & liaising with immigration authorities, responding to refusals, judicial reviews/appeals & attending court/tribunal.Mentoring/Training

a lawyer admitted in Victoria
with a current
UNRESTRICTED
practising certificate (essential);Have
MINIMUM 4+ years
post-admission (or more up to senior associate/special counsel) in immigration law specifically with experience with
partner visas
(essential) and
protection visas
(preferable not essential);Have proven ability to highly
autonomously manage
your own cases from initial client enquiry to visa approval/grant in a
busy fast-paced deadline driven
environment;Are
results driven, empathetic & passionate
about human rights and making a positive impact on real people's lives.
