A merit pool may be established and used to fill similar vacancies for up to 18 months.About our teamImmigration | Character Cancellation & Case Res | Resettlement & Support Programs | Visa Case ManagementCase Managers will focus on supporting client reintegration into the community and connecting individuals with appropriate resources and supports. They will support visa holders adjust to community living through active engagement and positive interactions.Case Managers will use a range of case management and risk assessment tools to support engagement and case management and will work actively with community providers to assist clients in accessing accommodation, employment, healthcare, community welfare assistance, and rehabilitation services.Case Managers will be the Department's connection to the visa holder and will develop professional relationships with the person. Clients, including vulnerable individuals with complex issues, will receive the appropriate degree of individualised support. Case Managers will engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to monitor, coordinate, and manage holistic support and overcome barriers to successful community reintegration and achievement of a status resolution outcome.Our ideal candidateAPS5 Case Managers will case manage visa holders requiring a low to medium level of service, undertake case coordination functions, operate under limited direction, and address and resolve potential issues impacting a client's reintegration into the community and achieving status resolution outcomes.Case Managers are the key point of contact with the Department and will engage regularly and proactively in-person and via video conferencing and telephone with their allocated client caseload to support positive community reintegration.
