As part of our team, you will operate and drive primarily superb hopper trucks to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of goods. This role requires a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
Operate and drive primarily superb hoppers to transport grain and fertilizer throughout South Eastern Saskatchewan. Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle, including the condition of equipment and loading/unloading of cargo. Drive trucks weighing over 4500 kg to transport goods and materials over short distances in Saskatchewan. Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods. Administer bills of lading and maintain log books manually or electronically. Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers, and customers using communication devices and on-board computers. Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed. Other duties as required. Minimum Requirements: Must have 5 years of experience with a 1A license and a minimum of 2 years of experience with superb trucks. Punctual. Attention to detail. Mechanically inclined. Great attitude. Strong customer service skills. Willing to work overtime if required. Ability to start and run load-out equipment without supervision.
