Add expected salary to your profile for insights About the role: Immakulate Constructions is seeking a driven individual to take the role of Lead Carpenter and join our dynamic team.
This full-time role will be based in Warragul, VIC 3820; playing a pivotal part in the successful delivery of our diverse and unique construction projects.
What you'll be doing: Supervise and coordinate a team of carpenters to complete projects within timeframes and to specification Inspect and quality-check all carpentry work to ensure it meets company and industry standards Liaise with tradespeople to ensure seamless project delivery Record and retain relevant information Liaise with site supervisors and project managers Identify and address any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to less experienced carpenters Foster an atmosphere of growth and excellence Quality control and task delegation for all carpenters onsite Assist with detailing of transitions and finishes What we're looking for: Relevant experience as a carpenter Exceptional carpentry skills, and the ability to read and interpret plans, project documentation and technical drawings Strong problem-solving, time management and decision-making skills, with the ability to find creative solutions to complex challenges Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and tradespeople Thorough knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in carpentry Ability to manage own efficiency in task completion and direction, including training and supervision of others What we offer: At Immakulate Constructions, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
