Animal Referral Hospital (ARH) Brisbane is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing exceptional specialist and emergency services to pets in need. Due to our ongoing growth, we are looking for full time, highly motivated, and organised Imaging Veterinary Nurse with the ability to provide the high standard of client and patient care we are widely recognised for. Your role will encompass responsibilities across a full range of diagnostic imaging (sonography, digital radiology, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging). You will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality of care, efficient image acquisition, and the smooth operation of imaging procedures. Your duties across imaging will include: Patient Care and Safety: Assisting with patient induction, positioning, and monitoring during image acquisitionImage Quality and Acquisition: Ensuring high-quality images are captured, processed, and transferred to the appropriate systems (PACS, Rx Works)Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and troubleshooting imaging and anesthetic equipment to ensure proper functionality and safetyRoom Management: Managing stock levels, performing cleaning, and ensuring a safe, well-maintained imaging environmentDocumentation and Compliance: Managing patient information and ensuring all necessary forms are completed and updatedCollaboration and Coordination: Working with imaging staff to ensure smooth image acquisition and correct documentation, including managing daily schedules and troubleshooting errors.Your skills and experience: A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or higherMust be competent monitoring anaestheticsExperience in diagnostic imaging and knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures across multiple modalities is preferredStrong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standardsExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamIf you're eager to grow professionally and personally, work with cutting-edge imaging technology within a collaborative and supportive environment - we encourage you to apply and make a meaningful impact as a part of the ARH Brisbane team!
