Position Title: ILNG Coatings and Insulation - Mechanical Integrity Engineer ILNG Onshore Facilities, Darwin based Collaborative and inclusive team culture We are seeking a ILNG C&I - Mechanical Integrity Engineer to join our INPEX Operations Implementation team in Darwin on a permanent contract.

Key responsibilities include: Conduct regular inspections and assessments of mechanical and piping systems within the Coatings and Insulation Project.
Perform corrosion assessments and manage repair processes to ensure equipment integrity.
Prepare detailed reports on mechanical integrity assessments and inspections, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Manage and execute Fitness for Service (FFS) assessments, including Level 1, 2, and 3 evaluations.
Collaborate with C&I Inspection Engineers to review corrosion anomalies and determine necessary actions.
Maintain effective communication with Strategic and Frontline Engineering teams to align on project goals and standards.
Develop strong working relationships with onshore teams, including Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Brownfields, Campaign, Inspection, and Shutdown teams.
Ensure timely and accurate entry of data into the Asset Performance Management (APM) system to support reporting requirements.
Provide regular updates and reports to the Lead Mechanical Engineer and other relevant stakeholders on the status of mechanical integrity and ongoing projects.
Participate in unit or train shutdowns, providing technical support to the overall maintenance effort and engaging in professional development activities.
Successful candidates will have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in non-destructive examination techniques and relevant FFS software.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with strong planning, organisation, and time management skills.
A proactive and safety-conscious mindset, motivated to improve processes and efficiency.
Ability to work under pressure, adapt to dynamic environments, and develop effective working relationships with various teams.
A bachelor's degree in engineering (required); formal training and experience in API579/FFS is highly regarded.
