About The Organisation:

About The Role:
The department is looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage procurement processes, prepare and review documents, provide policy advice, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with regulations while liaising with key stakeholders.
Qualification/ Level: APS6 – EL1
Number of Positions Available: Multiple
Location: Canberra, ACT
Contract Duration: 12 Months + 2 x 12 Months
Requirements:
MUST have a Baseline Clearance Selection Criteria Response Responsibilities:
Prepare and review procurement documents including quotes, reports, and orders. Provide expert advice on procurement and contract management to project teams. Implement Commonwealth and agency-specific procurement policies. Develop tools, templates, and guides to enhance team productivity. Manage procurement records effectively using Objective EDRM systems. Undertake reporting and ad hoc section tasks as required. Required Experience and Skills:
Strong understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and frameworks. Proven experience with end-to-end labour hire and ICT procurements. Knowledge of End User License Agreements, warranties, and negotiation techniques. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and electronic document management systems. Ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders, including ICT professionals and vendors.
