Job ResponsibilitiesMarket Penetration and Development:Identify and develop new market opportunities for iFarmer's agri-input products within assigned territories.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the agricultural sector, including farmers, retailers, distributors, and agricultural organizations.Collect and analyze market data, including crop patterns, pest and disease prevalence, and farmer preferences.Identify key SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) to focus on based on market demand and profitability.Provide valuable insights to the team to guide product development, marketing strategies, and sales efforts.Product and Promotion:Promote and develop farmer-oriented climate-smart agri-input products, highlighting their benefits and value proposition to potential customers.Organize and conduct product demonstrations, field trials, and farmer training programs to showcase product effectiveness.Generate leads, nurture, and maintain long-term sustainable relationships with location-wise farmers.Assist the Operations team to achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth for the Agri Input department.RequirementsEducational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.Experience: 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development preferably in the agri-input industry.Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.Other: Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories.
