What you'll deliver with us: As our Identity Engineer, you are responsible for the development, maintenance, and implementation of enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions and supporting tooling that enable the Australia Post workforce. You will deliver technical excellence in an operational identity environment, enabling security contracts such as user lifecycle management, birthright provisioning, user access review, password reset, and reporting.
You will also resolve technical development issues that may arise during the whole development lifecycle and work closely with Australia Post Architecture to develop detailed designs and system specifications for solution implementation and future integration activities. This role also mentors and coaches junior technical and support resources, upskilling them in development practices and supporting them in their career development objectives.
You'll also: Lead the enhancement of the identity platform: SailPoint and the services it supports.Be responsible for the delivery of engineering solutions to the AccessNow (Identity Governance & Administration) platform.Provide technical consulting and leadership to mature the function in BAU and deliver robust work products for projects.Maintain awareness of internal and external standards and compliance obligations, driving platform compliance.Work closely with external stakeholders including the Manager of Identity Engineering and Product Owner Identity Governance.Shape this function at Australia Post.You'll also need: Proven experience in identity engineering or identity solution consulting.Delivery experience across Identity products, primarily SailPoint IdentityIQ.Experience in managing supporting cloud technologies for the Identity solution.Proven knowledge of version control and code management technologies (e.g., GitLab).Experience in development and maintenance of scripting languages.Proficiency with workload management and delivery tooling (e.g., Jira).Background in delivering and supporting critical business services in a medium to large enterprise.How we'll deliver for you: Join one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse workforces in Australia.We deliver on our values of Trust, Inclusivity, Empowerment, and Safety every day.Immerse yourself in the AP Way – where every single team member partakes in a learning module.We're delivering together: At Australia Post, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we operate.
