Identity and Access Management (IAM) Specialist Project Overview: A prominent education-focused organization is developing an advanced Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution to support secure, reliable access to its ICT environment.
This initiative will enable seamless access for users across various groups, including staff, students, and associated members of the community.
The IAM solution will integrate with core applications, ensuring consistency and security throughout the organization's digital ecosystem.
Key Skills and Attributes: Expertise in designing IAM architecture patterns for large-scale environments.
Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and version control.
Deep knowledge of IAM practices, such as: Large-scale enterprise IAM solutions.
Authentication and authorization protocols, including Active Directory, custom authentication methods, and role-based access.
User lifecycle management, access provisioning, and control.
Experience in migrating users, content, and groups between IAM providers.
Federation and security protocols.
Experience with IAM vendor products like Ping Identity suite (Ping Access, Ping Federate), Microsoft FIM/MIM, and Optimal IdM.
Experience using Azure DevOps for task and issue tracking, test management, and documentation.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) solutions, with experience integrating it with Active Directory and external applications.
