Information Security Services are seeking applications for a permanent full-time Identity and Access Management (IAM) Officer to join their team.
As the Identity and Access Management Officer, you will support IAM solution people, process, and technology by:
Providing services in identity and access management (IAM), including systems installation, configuration, maintenance, and administration; Reviewing and contributing to the remediation of IAM issues; Applying industry standard techniques to resolve technological issues and contribute to IAM productivity improvements. The IAM Officer reports to the IAM Manager, Information Security Services, Information and Technologies Branch, People and Corporate Services Division.
About the Role: Responsibilities include:
Fulfill ICT support requests to resolve complex identity and access management issues for departmental users within reasonable timeframes and ensuring that agreed service levels are met. Participate in the design and delivery of on-premise and cloud-based IAM solutions, product customisations, and plugins. Use monitoring services and tools to ensure services are delivered efficiently and effectively through the IAM solution. Contribute to the maintenance and development of documentation and procedures related to standard operational outcomes, proactively suggesting opportunities for improvements. Work closely with a variety of business areas and project teams to develop and maintain IAM solutions in support of business needs. Contribute to the improvement of IAM process, authentication, access rights, restrictions, account profiles, password management techniques, and other attributes required to support staff and students with simple and secure access to information and services appropriate to their role.
