The Identity Access Management (IAM) Consultant will play a pivotal role in ensuring secure and streamlined access to organizational resources.
This role involves designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions that safeguard sensitive data while enhancing user experience.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IAM tools, security best practices, and regulatory requirements, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
BenefitsOpportunity to work on cutting-edge IAM projects in a dynamic environment.Collaborative culture with a strong emphasis on professional growth.Comprehensive benefits package, including learning opportunities.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions aligned with organizational needs.Develop and enforce access control policies, ensuring secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.Conduct IAM assessments and audits to identify and mitigate security risks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing systems and applications.Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IAM platforms and tools such as Okta, SailPoint, ForgeRock, or Azure AD.Provide expertise in identity lifecycle management, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and privileged access management (PAM).Document processes, technical designs, and best practices for IAM systems.Monitor IAM systems for performance, security, and compliance, addressing issues proactively.Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in identity security and make recommendations for enhancements.Qualification & ExperienceMaster's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience in Identity Access Management, cybersecurity, or a similar role for at least 3 years.Hands-on expertise with IAM platforms like Okta, SailPoint, ForgeRock, CyberArk, or Azure AD.Solid understanding of IAM protocols, including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.Experience with regulatory compliance frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, or SOX.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Okta Certified Professional, or similar) are a plus.About CompanyAt NEXTGEN IDENTITY, we share our experience in the identity management consulting space to help others.
