About the Role This crucial role involves state-wide planning, development, and leadership in engagement and stakeholder relations, education, partnerships, and programs to implement TAFE NSW training solutions that address the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learners, communities, and social requirements. Additionally, it oversees key external stakeholder relationships across regional networks, industry, government agencies, and the university sector to foster collaborative partnerships and initiatives, providing meaningful services to support individuals in reaching their potential and maintaining student engagement in the learning process.
About You You possess strong leadership skills and have a demonstrated ability to build a cohesive and high-performing team aligning to TAFE NSW's core values of integrity, collaboration, excellence, and a customer-first attitude. Your ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders will be crucial in driving the success of TAFE NSW's programs and initiatives. You will have an influential and collaborative approach to establishing and co-designing culturally appropriate ways of working across multi-focused teams and functions to ensure effective engagement and program delivery.
Your profound understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, cultures, and educational needs, combined with your strong connections and insights from living, working, and serving in diverse communities, will be essential. This position requires confirmation of Aboriginality.
