The mental health clinician will be a valued member of the Infant Child Youth Mental Health Wellbeing Service and will be responsible for providing a full range of clinical casework and other therapeutic interventions to children and young people inclusive of families. We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity. Providing mental health assessment, interventions and case management service to clients and their families including those with co-morbid difficulties. Undertake urgent mental health crisis assessments in ED, or home, school, community environment in order to prioritise level of interventions required. Act as advocate with and on behalf of clients and families with relevant community agencies. Participate in quality improvement activities. Demonstrate a high level of written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and liaise and consult with a wide range of clients, carers, professionals (including peer workforce) and community agencies.
