Your new role:
The ICT Systems Administrator is responsible for the implementation, administration, and day-to-day maintenance of Hanwha Defence Australia (HDA) ICT systems.
Responsibilities include performing the day-to-day maintenance of on-premise or cloud systems (SaaS & IaaS), developing and maintaining SOEs for HDA staff and evaluating and implementing new technologies for use in the business, whilst also supporting end users as required.

Your primary areas of responsibility:
Undertake systems engineering activities including requirements analysis and management, system safety, integration, configuration audits, verification and validation activities.
Ensure all systems, platforms and applications are compliant with and operating to relevant security and data protection standards.
Assist in maintaining a high level of system availability (per SLAs) and create a positive customer experience.
Investigate and provide technical advice on the implementation of new technologies and systems as required.
Work with the ICT Infrastructure Lead & broader ICT team to support & enhance operational ICT infrastructure.
Develop and maintain systems and processes for the efficient rollout of software and configuration across the companies' computer systems.
Provide technical support for end-users in a timely fashion, including managing ICT requests received in the ICT service management system.
About you:

High level of attention to detail with an analytical approach.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or other tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
Relevant industry certifications (i.e., Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL).
Possessing one of these three certificates: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Experience:
Substantial previous experience working in a Systems Administrator role.
Demonstrated skillset administering the Microsoft 365 cloud suite & Azure (Required).
Other cloud experience (IaaS, PaaS & SaaS), with AWS (Required).
Experience with on-premises virtualized technologies (VMWare, Hyper-V) (Highly Desirable).
Experience with Linux server operating systems (Desirable).
Demonstrated skillset across MS Office applications, Windows desktop/server operating systems & other common end-user & office technology, in both initial deployment & ongoing end-user support.
Defence industry experience is highly preferred.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security clearance (you must be an Australian Citizen ).
