The ideal candidate has been working in a service desk environment and is ready to take their next step in their career. The ICT Support Officer position is responsible for resolving incidents, identifying problems, and completing service requests (Level 1 to Level 1.5 complexity) across multiple technology stacks. These include Microsoft Windows devices, desktop software, tablets, printers, video conferencing, desk phones, smartphones, website, intranet, and clinical infrastructure to support the organisation's ICT services. The ICT services support a wide range of clinical, operational, and administrative staff.This is a part-time position of 32 hours per week; exact hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant. We offer a friendly, team-focused work environment, comprehensive orientation to the department and organisation, in-house salary packaging, and free car parking.Our preferred candidate will have:A diploma level qualification in Information Technology or significant technical knowledge in Information Technology and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.Experience in providing ICT Level 1 or Level 1.5 application and/or devices support based on ITIL practices.Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.A thorough understanding and respect for confidentiality requirements.Responsible and mature work attitude.Ability to communicate constructively and effectively with a range of key stakeholders using excellent oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.Proven ability to fault find to reach an acceptable outcome.The following experience/qualifications would be considered advantageous:A current ITIL Certification.Knowledge of privacy legislation and document control.Previous experience within a hospital or healthcare environment.IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies).
