We are seeking a skilled ICT Server Administrator to provide technical support across all areas within the mine site.
This role ensures secure and efficient management of network data, systems, and equipment.Your main responsibilities will include:Installing, configuring, and maintaining local and wide-area networks, cabling systems, controllers, and software.Monitoring and maintaining network links between business systems and corporate sites to ensure maximum efficiency.Administering the site's corporate email, groupware networks, and external links in collaboration with external personnel.Developing and enforcing policies and procedures to maintain data security and disaster recovery readiness.Supporting end users with secure application data setup and ongoing maintenance.Documenting network infrastructure, service standards, and operational procedures.The ideal candidate will have:A college degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.At least 5 years of experience in network and desktop support, including client/server environments.Proficiency in Windows, Linux, UNIX, TCP/IP protocol suite, and router configuration.Strong knowledge of large-scale infrastructure, including LAN/WAN/ VMware systems.Excellent problem-solving skills, multitasking abilities, and attention to detail.Fluent in Dutch and English; Sranan Tongo is an advantage.Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 14 days of work followed by 7 days break.Safety and Sustainability ExpectationsAs part of the Rosebel team, you are expected to prioritize the health and safety of yourself and others, comply with all regulatory requirements, and actively promote continuous improvement in workplace safety and sustainability.If you are passionate about technology and want to contribute to our mission of responsible mining, we would love to hear from you.
