We are currently seeking a Fixed Term Permanent staff member to join our team based at our offices in Sunshine.
The role Reporting to the ICT Planning and Delivery Coordinator, we are seeking a Senior Solution Architect who can bring their skills and experience to:
Ensure Council's ICT solutions are designed and implemented in alignment with business requirements, are fit for purpose, responsive, reliable, secure, and cost effective.Evangelise solutions architecture within the Council, by demonstrating its value and promoting its effective use; lead the development of architecture standards and roadmaps; create Council architecture models that reflect strategies and goals, and create linkages between strategy and technology initiatives.Liaise with senior management and other key stakeholders to understand Council operations, issues, and opportunities that projects are designed to address so that an appropriate solution can be developed and delivered.To be considered you will have: Sufficient commercial experience as a Solution, Domain, or Enterprise Architect working across medium to large enterprise-level projects. TOGAF/COBIT and ITIL certification is preferred.At least 8+ years of practical experience in Solutions Architecture frameworks, methodologies, and patterns.Experience in one of the four major ERPs adapted for Council use, which includes, but is not limited to, CIVICA, ORACLE, TECHNOLOGY ONE, INFOR.Demonstrated experience in Service/Infrastructure/Application/ERP road-mapping, integration, interoperability, data architecture, API, backup/DR and ICT Service Continuity and implementing M365 technologies.Local government experience is desirable.Benefits of working at Brimbank include: 38 hour working week.Flexible work practices including hybrid working arrangements.Make a positive impact to your local community.A Position Description for this role is attached.
