Join this mid-size Federal Government Department in Barton, ACT as Senior Project Officer Your new company Hays has partnered with its client, a mid-sized Federal Government agency, to assist in finding their newest ICT Senior Project Support officer Based out of a modern, accessible office in Barton, ACT, you'll be working for a department playing a key role in Australia's legal landscape. Your new role As part of their current Evidence Management Modernisation program, you'll work as part of a geographically dispersed cross-functional team to support the delivery of this crucial new platform, uplifting in house capability and reforming operating procedures. Day to day, your responsibilities will include: Supporting the project and program managers in the timely and effective delivery of projects (such as issue resolution and escalation, minor project activities, administration, reporting and monitoring) Liaising with stakeholders and attending meetings General administration (including records management) Producing quality project-related documentation (support material, fact sheets, reports, briefs, minutes etc.) What you'll need to succeed - Demonstrated experience supporting the delivery of complex ICT projects, preferably within Federal Government contexts. - An active AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance - The ability to attend the Barton, ACT office at least three days per week. - A competitive rate expectation aligned with experience level and market rates What you'll get in return You'll receive an hourly contracting rate, flexible working options, a six-month contract with the potential for extensions and a modern, centrally located Canberra office.
