Job description

As the 'go-to' mid-tier Service Provider for many Australian and International clients, FinXL enjoys a diverse client portfolio, boasting some of the industry's leading Telecommunication, Banking and Finance, and Commercial Corporations, along with many State and Federal Government Departments.
We are seeking an ICT Project Manager to join our team full time, to work onsite in Melbourne CBD.
Responsibilities:
Installation, configuration and upgrade of hardware, systems and software for networks, including ICT security policy.
Management of network and security performance by monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting and continuous improvement to optimise performance.
Documenting network problems and resolutions for future reference to minimise the risk of internal and external security threats.
Management of network system backup and restore services.
Securing network systems by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.
Updating operational documentation.

Technical knowledge:
Strong firewalls (Juniper Nescreen or SRX or CheckPoint).
Switching and Routing (Cisco, Nexus, BGP).
Load Balancing (F5 - LTM, GTM, APM, ASM).
Strong Netscaler skills (Load Balancer, CAG or application firewall).
IPS (TippingPoint).
DNS Infoblox.
Tools (Nagios, Cacti, and Solarwinds).
General understanding of ITIL processes (incident management/change management etc.).
Designing and maintaining database architecture, data structures, tables, dictionaries, and naming conventions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all data master files, including testing and debugging.
Liaising with security vendors where necessary.
Advanced analysis, problem-solving and troubleshooting experience.
Strong, clear communicator with technical and business contacts.
Good negotiation and influencing skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a complex IT infrastructure environment incorporating planning, implementation, operational management, configuration and maintenance.
