Australian Passive Fire is a Sydney based passive fire protection company providing fire protection services to a range of builders, service trades and facility management companies throughout NSW. We are currently looking for experience with passive fire ICT Security to join our growing team. We are looking for people who are passionate about their work, willing to be flexible and are keen to learn from a team of highly skilled professionals. The Employer agrees to employ the Employee as a Passive Fire ICT Security Specialist for 40 hours per week. The Employee will be expected to perform the following job duties: Coordinating IT policy and procedure for the business according to provided plans, specifications and programming requirements Produce IT schedules and monitor strategies for subcontractors and Australian Passive Fire employees Allocate IT security and risk analysis for general duties and daily tasks to site staff and subcontractors Working as a team responsible for database documentation and implementation of information security requirements, policies, reports, standards, guidelines, and procedures.  Implement and evaluate industry security controls and practices to enhance the effectiveness of servers and networks for future developments. Evaluate and respond to emerging security issues, enforcing security and integrity controls to the identity and access management solution including backups and recovery procedures. Participate in the creation of security policies, audits, registers, and assessments, including service catalogue to track project delivery for CAP, and to detail and record system logs and maintain operational procedures.  Monitor and maintain the performance of networks to ensure the design of computer sites and components within the servers work securely and effectively. Troubleshoot and provide support services in diagnosing, resolving, and repairing shared cloud storage and services, including Cloud IAM software malfunctions, encompassing workstations and communication infrastructure.  Coordinate with key stakeholders and clients as part of delivery teams and engaging third parties delivering solutions to remediate critical incidents on behalf to understand and assess the appropriateness of designs. Take responsibility for the process, procedures, and operational management of system security and disaster recovery planning. Facilitate communication and collaboration with security vendors, suppliers, clients, service providers, and external sources. Conduct database life cycle (DBLC) procedures including analysing, designing, testing database systems, and maintaining data structures and database architecture to ensure the completeness and accuracy achieve all data master files.  Manage vulnerability platforms across IT environments such as hybrid cloud applications: construction-cloud web based platform, and endpoints operated in the construction and passive fire industry and producing reports. As the point of reference for both workers and managers, you will be a key person for the successful maintenance of the company's IT security. The following specific responsibilities include: Conduct site-specific IT inductions for all workers on site. Co-ordinate IT tasks according to priorities and plans determined with your manager Produce regular IT security schedules and monitor performance of work crew Process general IT duties and daily tasks Manage network testing and implement new procedures with staff working on your sites Provide mentoring to junior staff Ensure manpower and resources are adequate and efficiently utilised to minimise the risk of internal and external IT security threats Resolve problems when they arise including staff issues, technical questions, changes in priority etc. Report on progress to managers, engineers, certifiers and other project stakeholders.
