Your new position, reporting to the CEO, will maintain responsive information, communication, and technology services, including the delivery of enhancements to applications, infrastructure, and services (AIS) in accordance with changing business requirements.Key Objectives:Ensure ICT systems and network are robust and any downtime is managed to reduce impact to the businessIdentify and resolve problems related to network infrastructure, hardware, software, operating systems, and office productivity applicationsMaintain the integrity and security of systems, data, networks, applications, documents, and recordsMaintain robust cyber security, risk mitigation, and authentication account management protocolsPrepare the annual ICT budgetDevelop and maintain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans and regular housekeeping, preventative maintenance, and back-up proceduresEnsure risks associated with Porta's ICT services are identified and appropriately mitigatedProvide technical oversight to ensure that all services adhere to Porta's frameworks, policies, standards, and guidelinesProvide support and reports to all internal departments as requiredDrive the development and enhancement of ICT policies, processes, work practices, and guidanceIncrease the ICT literacy of all employees, including providing training in systems use and accessWhat you will have:Relevant tertiary/postgraduate qualification or 5 years' experience in a similar roleAppropriate vocational qualifications and certifications, e.g., Security, Risk, Project Management, Agile, Software, Platforms, Cloud, Service Management, or Change Management, are highly desirableExceptional leadership experience with proven capability to engage, mentor, and develop high-performing teamsStrong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost managementHighly developed commercial acumenDemonstrated initiative and flexibility to adapt to changing business requirementsHigh attention to detailCreative, analytical, and organized approachExperience within the Timber IndustryThis is a full-time position based in our Fairfield head office.Applicants will be assessed as they apply, so if you are interested in applying,
