Launceston Christian School (TAS) is a co-educational independent K-12 Christian School which aims to provide a caring and stimulating environment for learning. The school is distinctively Christ centred and is committed to providing effective spiritual, emotional, physical and academic support for all its students.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed Christian professionals for the full-time position for an ICT Helpdesk Support Officer in 2025.
Position Summary
Bringing a Christian perspective to bear in all aspects of work, the ICT Helpdesk Support Officer is a vital role in maintaining the day-to-day IT operations within our school environment.
This is a Level 1 position responsible for providing frontline technical support to both staff and students, ensuring that all devices and systems function effectively to support the school's educational goals. The role requires a proactive approach to resolving technical issues, deploying and managing hardware, and offering advice and training to users. The Helpdesk Support Officer will also collaborate with the ICT team to enhance the overall technology experience within the school.
Applicants will need to be:

Practicing Christians, actively involved in their local church and able to subscribe to the School's Mission Statement
Experienced in troubleshooting and supporting Windows, Mac, and Chrome OS devices
Able to deploy, reimage, and decommission hardware efficiently
Experienced in managing warranty and insurance repairs through third-party vendors
Excellent communicators, with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Committed to providing high-quality customer service and support
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Registered with a current Working with Vulnerable People (Employment) Card

Commencement Date: January 2025 (actual date can be negotiated)
