The key duties of the position include:The Role
We are seeking skilled Test, Evaluation and Release Engineers to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, strategies and cases to align to program objectives.
We have three core priorities: building best-in-class people to support DDG's efforts, underpinned by best-in-class global platforms, supported by best-in-class sovereign capabilities. Our goal is to provide our warfighters the appropriate technologies needed to fight and win in the digital age.
These roles will be part of larger project teams to develop solutions and deliver capability. These are new roles in a growing Branch, and you will be instrumental in helping to build both human and technical capabilities to achieve the Defence mission.
About our Team
You will be part of a team of ICT professionals working with complex projects across key Digital domains in Enterprise Systems Division within Defence Digital Group (DDG). These roles will provide technical expertise, in a matrixed construct, as teams and individuals who are embedded into projects as needed. We commit to providing additional professionalisation for the right candidates so you can continue to grow and develop your career. We will also provide mentorship and coaching to ensure you reach your potential.
Our Ideal Candidate
You will have one or more of the following:
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with good attention to detail;Good understanding of software testing principles, best practice and methodologies;Experience engaging with stakeholders to understand their expectations and concerns;Experience in exercising judgement when interpreting policies and applying practices and procedures in testing environments;Experience in mentoring other members of the team.
