Ict Data Platform Administrator

Our Federal Government Client is seeking an ICT Data Platform Administrator who will be responsible for performing technical assessment, design, configuration, and deployment of new capabilities in the data platform space.
The successful candidate(s) for this role will provide platform support to Data Analysts (DA), Data Engineers (DE), and Data Scientists (DS).
This is a contract role that will run for 12 months with possible extension options based in Canberra.
Working remotely from an alternate location (including work from home) or flexible work arrangements may be considered.
As the selected candidate, you will: Perform technical assessment, design, configuration, and deployment of new capabilities in the data platform space.
Solve complex problems under minimal supervision.
Develop and support your own and other team members' technical capabilities.
Contribute to the team wiki for recording system configurations, change procedures, release procedures, incident management, and how-to guides.
Transfer knowledge to other data platform administrators.
Support the platforms and software used by DA/DE/DS/WASP including troubleshooting, updates, and upgrades.
Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following technologies is desirable: RHEL 7 & RHEL 8 Ansible Azure Dev/Ops Neo4j Kafka Ni Fi SAS Impala/Kudu Elasticsearch Postgre SQL Java Kubernetes Python Server hosts & GPU Cluster installations, configuration, cable and power management Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens who have the ability to obtain an AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance.
