Our Federal Government Client is looking for an ICT Contract Manager with expertise in the administration of telecommunications arrangements and commercial contract management aspects.
Role requirements: We are looking for a high performing candidate with experience in managing a team and a proven track record in commercial contract management, preferably in ICT contract management and experience with the Telecommunications industry.
You will have the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and be comfortable working in an environment of changing priorities with tight timeframes.
Essential criteria: Engage in day to day contract management activities that reflect departmental needs, align with departmental priorities and comply with applicable legislation, regulations, policies, guidelines and procedures (e.g.
PGPA Act, Commonwealth Procurement Rules, and FFSP Act).
Engage in vendor relationship management and industry engagement activities to improve the way in which goods and services are delivered including contract negotiation.
Undertake commercial analysis of suppliers to ensure ongoing value for money propositions.
Interpret and draft procurement and contract documentation including tenders, panels, contracts and statutory reporting requirements.
Collect and collate data to support collaboration and negotiate terms and conditions to reflect the scale of requirements.
Communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
Hold a minimum active Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV2) security clearance.
The role is on an initial 12-month contract with two (2) possible 12-month contract extension options.
It is the Client's preference for the work to be done on site at their office in Canberra.
Flexible working arrangements may be considered (i.e.
3 days in office and 2 from home).
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens who have active Federal Government Security Clearance.
