About the Role:

Contract Duration: 12 Months + 2 X 12 Months
Requirements: MUST have ACTIVE NV2 Clearance. Suitability Statement | Selection Criteria Response Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day contract administration aligned with departmental needs and priorities. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies (e.g., PGPA Act, Commonwealth Procurement Rules, DFAT Procurement Policy). Lead vendor relationship management and industry engagement to optimise service delivery, including contract negotiations. Conduct commercial analysis to ensure value for money in supplier arrangements. Draft and interpret procurement and contract documentation, including tenders, panels, and statutory reports. Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate terms and conditions that meet project scale requirements. Communicate effectively across all organisational levels. Essential Experience: Proven track record in commercial contract management, preferably in ICT and telecommunications. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment with tight deadlines. Strong understanding of procurement and contract legislation (e.g., PGPA Act, FFSP Act). Skilled in vendor negotiations and relationship management. High-level proficiency in drafting and interpreting procurement documents.
