About the Role
We are seeking a motivated ICT Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about analyzing and improving business processes and contributing to system development.
You will work closely with users and stakeholders to ensure our systems and processes are both efficient and effective.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with users to understand their needs, gather, and document comprehensive business requirements. Identify, investigate, and analyze existing business processes, procedures, and work practices to uncover inefficiencies. Recommend optimal business practices, workflows, and system functionality to enhance efficiency. Use project management methodologies to create project plans, manage resources, estimate costs, and guide projects to successful completion. Lead the deployment of functional solutions by developing and implementing test plans to ensure quality and system integrity. Develop detailed user guides and training materials, and conduct formal training sessions to promote system adoption. Write functional specifications for system developers, ensuring alignment with business goals. Serve as the central reference point for stakeholders, offering guidance and support throughout the project/billing lifecycle. Manage the billing cycle by leveraging advanced data analysis to generate precise invoices, consolidate data, and support financial decision-making. Utilize Python, pandas, NumPy, and Excel macros to analyze data and ensure integration across multiple platforms, including MYOB and Access Database. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for actionable insights into billing metrics and customer data. Continuously improve billing processes through ETL techniques, API integrations, and data management practices. Uphold the accuracy of financial records by managing customer profiles and account data. Ensure accurate invoice processing, supplier invoicing, and reconciliation between MYOB and Access Database. Develop and maintain Excel macros and Google Sheets for advanced data processing and reporting. Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an ICT Business Analyst or in a similar role. A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on innovation and improving business efficiency. Excellent multitasking abilities and experience working in cross-functional teams. Autonomy, self-motivation, and the ability to take initiative on projects. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly. Expertise in Python, pandas, NumPy, Excel macros, and Power BI. Experience with ETL techniques, API integrations, and financial data management. Summary of Role Requirements
