Position Details 2 Year Contract | Full-Time Higher Education Officer Level 5 | $80,405 - $88,737 p.a.
(Exclusive of 17% Super) Location: Mount Gambier Campus / On the Traditional Lands of the First Nations of the South East View Position Description About the Role Rural and Remote Health (RRH) SA is fast growing and looking for an ICT Audio Visual Officer to join the team.
This position will work to support and deliver ICT related services, working closely with the Flinders Information and Digital Services (IDS) team to support the objectives of RRH.
The incumbent will be based in Mount Gambier but required to travel to other RRH campuses, therefore a current SA Driver's License is required for this position.
About You To be successful in this role you will demonstrate: Diploma in Information and Communications Technology or a related field, combined with at least two years relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or training, and/or hands-on experience in current ICT practices and technologies General experience and knowledge with the following: Audio Visual/ICT, Windows, Linux, Mac, Cloud-based solutions, cyber security, mobile devices Ability to analyse issues, problem-solve effectively, identify priorities and exercise informed judgement whilst working independently and under pressure, often remotely via telephone and remote desktop tools An understanding of applicable Work Health and Safety requirements and ability to lift and move heavy equipment in accordance with WH&S Manual Handling Guidelines Effective interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills.

Prescribed Conditions for Employment A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the University will also be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
It is a requirement of this position that the incumbent maintain a current Working With Children Check which is satisfactory to the University in accordance with the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 (SA).
Staff working in a health care setting are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID in line with the NT Health policy.
A current SA Driver's License is required for this position.
