Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools in Knowsley who are seeking a Science Teacher for a long-term role due to start ASAP. This is a full-time, 2 term position, continuing until the end of the academic year in July.
The successful ICT and Computing Teacher will be joining a large 11-18 secondary academy with a clear ethos that everyone matters, everyone helps, and everyone succeeds. It is an expectation that all members of the community are polite, kind, and respectful who make sensible choices and work hard. The Science department at our client school has a clear intent to provide pupils with the knowledge and skills to become confident citizens in a technological world so that they may develop an interest in matters of scientific importance.
Pay for this position is up to £220.00 per day, depending on experience.
To be considered for this ICT and Computing Teacher position based in Knowsley, the essentials are:
QTS or equivalent teaching qualification Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum Legal right to work in the UK Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure This position is subject to safer recruitment checks including suitable references, DBS, and overseas police check if applicable.
