This role is critical for ensuring the safe and efficient energization of electrical infrastructure across various projects.Key Responsibilities:Conduct HV testing and commissioning for primary equipment up to 330kV, including transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and protection relays.Lead secondary injection testing, including protection relay testing for transformer, line, generator, and motor protection.Review and utilize design documents to validate protection schemes and coordinate integration.Develop commissioning plans, sequences, and ITPs, ensuring project completion aligns with client expectations and safety standards.Collaborate with internal teams, providing technical guidance, risk assessments, and managing resources effectively.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of industry experience in testing and commissioning HV equipment.Minimum 2 years of Supervisor or Lead Engineer / Engineering Technologist experience.Prior experience on mine sites is preferred.Proficiency in protection relay software and testing tools (Omicron, Doble, or similar).Knowledge of IEC 61850 is advantageous.This is a full-time role working 38 hours per week.
