PURPOSE OF ROLE Implement and support the continuous review of the Iceland estate at a store and postcode specific level to maximise our customer offering while operating as efficiently as possible.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Implement and manage a continuous review process of store capacities and slot offering to keep our network efficient while improving sales opportunities.Proactively seek to reduce our zoned postcode offering through new processes or tools.Improve robustness within our delivered sales service to keep customer impacts to an absolute minimum.Conduct store profile reviews based on data-driven evidence.Maintain key databases and tools used by the online planning team in line with latest practices.Test new systems and align them with existing processes and tools.Work collaboratively across Ecomm, digital operations and retail to successfully implement changes.Plan and monitor growth for future capacity planning.Use a model to measure and track our network capacity to inform our investment strategy and understand the operational realities.Manage a team of network planners to ensure creativity and proactivity in driving our delivered sales service.KEY SKILLS Proficient with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel is desirable.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Good attention to detail.Sense of urgency and pace in managing workload.Proactive approach in dealing with problems and queries in a busy and fast-paced environment.Ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders across the business.QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE Experience in logistical operations problem-solving.Knowledge of online industry best practices for logistics operations.Experience in managing a team.Make a difference to your career; we expect a lot but you'll get a lot back in return.
