As an IBM Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting various work packages associated with IBB Maintain Services.
Key Responsibilities: Work Package A: DataPower Gateway Upgrade Upgrade IBM DataPower Gateway IDG appliances across all environments (DOSD, DeBI, and SDeBI) to the latest supported devices.Migrate from physical to virtual appliances, ensuring operational readiness and cybersecurity compliance.Work Package B: Message Queue and Integration Upgrade Replace existing Message Queue servers with the latest version of IBM Websphere MQ on RHEL VMs.Upgrade IBM Integration Bus to IBM App Connect Enterprise and manage data migration across servers.Work Package C: Security Suite Upgrade Upgrade IBM Security Directory Suite and IBM Security Access Manager to the latest versions while migrating all data and functionalities.General Responsibilities Across Work Packages: Provision virtual machines and install/configure IBM virtual appliances.Update firewall rules and manage connectivity testing and cutover activities.Perform comprehensive testing, validation, and risk management during migrations.We need the following resources with IBM skill sets: IBM DataPowerWebSphere MQIBM Security Directory Suite (ISDS)IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM) upliftQualifications: Proven experience with IBM DataPower, WebSphere MQ, ISDS, and ISAM.Strong understanding of RHEL operating environments.Experience with virtualisation and network configurations.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.Please note that a minimum NV1 security clearance is required.To be considered for the role click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Elsa Ambrosini on 0452426715 or email: ****** and quote the above job reference number.
