Our client is a provider of quality products to consumers across Australia and New Zealand. They are seeking a highly skilled I.T. Operations Engineer to help steer their operations 24/7, days of the year. Being able to troubleshoot quickly and resolve outages in a timely manner is key along with undertaking proactive steps to ensure the security and reliability of the companies IT systems are intact.

Experience in a cooperate environment Possess a solid understanding of core infrastructure and services support large organisations (Active directory, VMWware, windows server, cisco network infrastructure, antivirus, security systems) IT Qualification to AQF 5 Standard (Certificate IV or equivalent)/Bachelor's degree in an IT discipline Microsoft Certification (At least MCSA or equivalent) VMWare VSphere (VCP or equivalent) Experience managing corporate AWS/Azure environments ITIL Foundation (v3 or higher) Good documentation skills Able to follow ITIL process Strong knowledge and commercial experience in all aspects of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems administration and security tools (Windows 7, 10, R2 - ) Understanding of Security principles associated with networks, email, operating systems, firewalls, VPNs, databases, virus management, intrusion detection, cryptography and e-commerce, with adeeper specialisation in at least two of these fields. Demonstrated Knowledge of: VMWare vSphere. Microsoft Exchange x. SQL Server x. SharePoint x. Microsoft patching processes (WSUS, KACE, and SCCM). Microsoft IIS Services. Backup Systems (Veeam, Backup Exec, CommVault). Anti-Virus Tools (Sophos, McAfee, Symantec). Microsoft Desktop SOE Build and Deployment Tools. A bonus if you have exposure to: Traditional and Unified Compute Solutions (DELL, HP, Cisco UCS) Shared Storage Solutions (DAS, NAS, FC, iSCSI, FCoE) Network Switching (Cisco / HP) Microsoft Dynamics AX Only applicants with FULL AUSTRALIAN WORK RIGHTS will be considered for this position.
