Our Albany clinics are looking for an Area Chief Medical Imaging Technologist to provide supportive leadership.
The role is a full time position , reporting to the Regional Manager working Monday to Friday, and includes participation in the on-call roster. We are looking for the successful candidate to start in January.
Role Overview:
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing standard clinical duties including imaging and assisting interventional procedures. Working between both the Sterling Terrace and Albany Health Campus clinics. Collaborating with the Regional Manager and Chief Sonographer. Providing direction, supervision, support and recognition of technical staff. Planning and managing staff rostering, annual leave planning and sick leave as required. Displaying a strong commitment to developing others through implementing effective performance management and development processes. Understanding the financial and commercial aspects of the business and focusing on managing clinic costs to achieve or exceed budget targets. Collaborating and communicating with hospital contract partners for day-to-day operational workflow. What we're looking for:
Current AHPRA and WA EPA Radiation Licence/ASAR Registration Ability to prioritize workload Experience supervising and leading individuals and teams What we can offer you:
