We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly-competent Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist to join our thriving practice NDC Darwin. About National Dental Care – Darwin
We are a large, modern, 8 chair dental practice with full QIP accreditation and state-of-the-art equipment and technology including an OPG/CBCT machine, CEREC, Laser, MIS, NEOSS, NOBLE BIOCARE Implant systems and Intraoral cameras. We are a friendly and multicultural team of 5 Dentists, 2 other Hygienists and a supportive, highly experienced practice manager. We also have a fantastic team of FIFO specialists in ortho and implants. Having been in the community for over 15years we have a well-established patient following and are looking forward to expanding the team!
About the Role
As a knowledgeable Dental Hygienist/ Oral Health Therapist, you'll work alongside the Dentist to provide a wide range of oral hygiene services to patients - including diagnosing and managing conditions of the teeth, mouth and jaws, cleaning and polishing teeth, and informing patients about oral hygiene. You'll employ critical thinking, clinical knowledge, and a patient-centric approach to ensure the highest level of care, service and client satisfaction.
Skills & Experience You have:
? Ideally 2+ years experience but willing to consider talented new graduates
? Relevant degree in Hygiene/ Oral Health Therapy with high clinical skills and standards
? Current unconditional AHPRA registration
? An appropriate qualification recognised by the Dental Board of Australia
? Current professional indemnity insurance
