About the role:
Oversee, conduct and analyze aquifer tests including predictive surface and groundwater modeling, and other hydrologic analyses.
Work with project teams to conceptualize, build, calibrate, and execute a variety of groundwater flow models using industry accepted software (Visual MODFLOW, GMS, Groundwater Vistas).
Assist in identifying technical issues and problem-solving approaches for hydrogeological site characterization.
Oversee preparation of reports including data visualization such as potentiometric surface maps, geologic and hydrogeological cross-sections, hydrogeologic model simulations, and maps.
Collaborate with the project team to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients.
About you:
B.S. degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology, or related disciplines. Master's degree strongly desired.
5+ years of work experience conducting groundwater flow modeling.
Recognized expertise in mining hydrogeology.
Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports, proposals, and presentations.
Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
Good knowledge of GIS is a plus.
