NES Fircroft are partnering with a global resources client who are looking for a Hydrogeologist to join their site based team on a 6 month contract.
The Role: This role is offered on an 8:6 roster FIFO Perth.
Reporting to the Senior Hydrogeologist, you will support the team as they undertake hydrogeological assessments and successfully manage and contribute to projects with a hydrogeological focus.
Duties Include: Supervision of drilling and pump testing programs.
Undertake hydrogeological assessments including the interpretation of data, site investigation planning and coordination, conceptualisation, and reporting.
Assist in the preparation of proposals, contract documentation and technical specifications.
Liaise with suppliers, clients, consultants concerning field investigations, design, installation or construction and commissioning of assigned work.
Provide technical input into groundwater investigations, management, and impact assessments.
Developing groundwater models.
The Requirements: BS/BA in Geosciences, Engineering, or a closely related field that includes training in partial differential calculus and numerical methods.
MSc in Hydrogeology, Civil Engineering or a similar field with an emphasis in groundwater hydrology and/or numerical modeling.
Groundwater exploration and/or mine dewatering in regional areas, resource evaluations and water resource development in Western Australia.
Drilling supervision and management.
Geological and hydrogeological logging and mapping.
Presentation of hydrogeological information for engineering purposes.
