About the role: In this role, you'll leverage your expertise to maintain up-to-date knowledge of our electrical assets, focusing on asset risk, capability, and performance.
You'll lead the development of whole-of-life-cycle asset management strategies to ensure our assets can continue to deliver sustainable value for the organisation.
Your skills in risk-based prioritisation and cost-benefit analysis will help shape project scopes and objectives.
You'll identify potential disruptions to critical assets, propose effective contingency plans, and provide specialist engineering support in hazard studies.
About you: You have extensive experience in the hydropower sector, focusing on electrical systems.
You will bring a strong grasp of primary and/or secondary systems, as well as a solid understanding of National Electricity Rules and asset management principles, including ISO 55001.
You are skilled in risk assessment and decision-making, with electrical engineering qualifications that enable you to address complex technical, commercial, and HSE challenges.
You are a strong leader and possess coaching and mentoring abilities crucial for guiding and supporting the development of team members within AESR and beyond.
