Who are you?
You have experience in collaboration and have a methodical mindset to deliver strategic objectives. Your experience also includes:
Enthusiasm to learn and grow with our team, Strong relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills, Experience and/or exposure in water management, the energy market and evolutionary design would also be beneficial but not essential. Your technical experience also includes:
.NET (client and server), preferably WPF, SQL Server Software design specifically developing automate repetitive tasks including testing and deployment, Experience in a complex business domain. Even if you don't meet these criteria 100%, we still want to hear from you!
About the role:
To put it simply, as a Software Developer at Hydro Tasmania, you will play a key role within a cross-functional scrum team working to deliver innovative market solutions to enable the business to continue powering Tasmania and Australia with renewable energy. Within this role, you will provide guidance and direction in large scale projects as well as leading your own projects including developing architecture as well as own and establish outcomes about 24/7 trading applications that support Hydro Tasmania's position in the National Electricity Market.
As a Software Developer at Hydro Tasmania, you will:
? Provide functional and technical expertise to develop technical design specifications for software and database solutions
? Design, develop, test, and release application software and databases to agreed standards
? Work in an agile team delivering value in close relationship with colleagues with the use of DevOps practises
? Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions
? Take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm
