THE ROLE The Engineer/Technician for Hydraulic Systems Hydropower will be responsible for the planning, design, and commissioning of hydraulic systems as part of the Snowy 2.0 project.
This includes preparing technical specifications, detailed designs, and tender documents, as well as evaluating and assessing offers from subcontractors.
The role will involve close collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and subcontractors to ensure the successful delivery of hydraulic solutions in line with project deadlines and quality standards.
The Engineer/Technician will support the preparation of technical documentation, coordinate with various stakeholders, and travel internationally to oversee the commissioning of hydraulic systems on-site.
They will work closely with the project team and external partners to ensure effective and integrated project delivery within the framework of the Snowy 2.0 project.
Detailed design of hydraulic components Preparation of technical specifications/tender documents for hydraulic systems Support in the offer phase with regard to the preparation of technical specifications Coordination and consultation with internal and external partners Evaluation and assessment of offers from subcontractors Responsibility for adherence to deadlines and quality Preparation of technical documentation Commissioning of hydraulic systems worldwide.

PROJECT INFORMATION Snowy 2.0 is the next generation of the iconic Snowy Mountains Hydroelectric Scheme, and construction of this major pumped hydro project is well underway.
