Hydraulic Technician

About the Role
As a hydraulics technician, you are the unsung hero of the mechanical world, the person who keeps everything flowing smoothly – literally! You will specialize in the maintenance, repair, and installation of hydraulic systems, tackling everything from cranes to diesel engines. You will need to read hydraulic schematics and operate hydraulic test stands with precision. With skills in MIG and oxy-acetylene welding, you will fix anything that leaks, squeaks, or creaks. In short, our hydraulics technician needs to ensure that every piece of machinery runs like a well-oiled machine.
Duties

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical problems related to hydraulic machinery, systems, and components.
Equipment maintenance on various equipment as required.
Welding in MIG and oxy-acetylene for repairing and fabricating hydraulic components.
Follow OH&S guidelines to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Skills and Experience

Ideally a qualification in an appropriate and relevant discipline such as automotive mechanics or at least three years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial sector.
Current Driver's License.
Ability to work independently.
Mechanical and Electrical aptitude.

Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
